About Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse
Having been one of the originators of the Country House movement in the 1980's, Richard and Mouse then travelled overseas working and absorbing the "foodie" world with a view to opening Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse - their intimate gourmet getaway.
In its awesome setting with splendid views of the mountains and running with crystal clear streams and waterfalls, Cleopatra is the ultimate in peace, tranquillity and solitude. It is ideal for its intended purpose as a restful refuge with professional yet understated service and most of all a gourmet experience to remember

We are tucked away in the most beautiful Kamberg valley in the Drakensberg Mountains near Giant's Castle (just below Highmoor Dam) in KwaZulu Natal approx. 4.5 hours from Johannesburg and 2 hours from Durban on good roads.
