To get really close up to the world’s most intriguing creatures like buffalo, elephant, rhino and the elusive big cats, Spurwing Tourism Services escorts you into this fascinating wonderland of sights and sounds. Transportation to and from Johannesburg and in Zululand is done in luxury air–conditioned mini–buses. Game drives are in specially adapted, open 4x4 safari vehicles, maintained to the highest standards to ensure maximum comfort while driving in the Park.

On this safari we visit a traditional Zulu Village, where we experience the essence of the Zulu culture through song and dance and a tour of the village. We also visit a crocodile farm and wildlife refuge where we get to see some of these beasts from nearby. We visit St. Lucia and the False Bay National Park where we take a cruise on Lake St. Lucia spotting some Hippos and Crocodiles.

Included in this Safari is accomadation, breakfast, dinner, all game drives in 4X4 safari vehicles, all entry fees to all areas as stipulated in the itinerary, return road transfers from Johannesburg as well as a tour of the Mpumalanga Panorama Route.

On this Safari we spend the first 3 nights at the 4 star Phumulani Lodge situated at the Numbi Gate of the Kruger Park. The lodge consists of 17 en–suite, luxury, thatched bungalows with private verandas. The main lodge building and pool deck have great views of the valley below and comprise a reception area, a bar and a fabulous restaurant overlooking the bush. We then move to the Zululand Safari Lodge in northern Zululand and spend the next 3 nights there. This Lodge is situated in a private reserve adjacent to the Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park.
